Korean Sailing Federation Seeks Head Coach

The Korean Sailing Federation – Korea National Sailing Team is recruiting for a Head Coach.

Korea Sailing Federation wants to have a foreign head-coach for the national sailing team in order to achieve successful results in Rio Olympics 2016 and build up coaching framework for long-term development of high performance sailing in Korea.

Main tasks
• Guidance of the technical development of the sailors
• Training of the sailors
• Arranging and coaching during domestic and overseas events
• Collect, develop and share technical knowledge
• Develop and support the long term development plan of for national sailing team.
• Implement new coaching and sailing skills
• Work on and develop talent tracking system
• Organize training camp and coaching clinic

Qualifications
• Satisfactory technical knowledge
• A track record as a competitor and sailing coach
• At least 5 years of coaching experience as professional coach
• Good communication skills
• Competence on group management and coordination
• Advanced and fluent English
• Full Time dedication on payroll
• No travel restrictions
• Ability to make regular report

Contract period
From February 2015 to December 2015
Through evaluation during the above period, contract may be extended by 1 year or so.

Salary
To be discussed individual basis based on experience

Laser, Laser Radial, 470, Hobie 16 (49er will replace), RS:X, RS:One, Optimist
