The formal inauguration ceremony of the Asian Sailing Federation (ASAF) High Performance Sailing Centre at Ningbo took place on 23rd May’25.
The grand event was graced by the President of World Sailing – Mr. Quanhai Li, Vice President World Sailing – Mr. Tomasz Chamera , Secretary General ASAF – Mr. Jason Lim and Ningbo Zhejiang Sports Centre officials.
The High Performance Centre which is named as the Zhejiang Ocean Sports Centre (Asian Sailing Centre) was also the venue of the 2022 Asian Games held in Hangzhou.
This inauguration was held in the backdrop of the China – CEE International Regatta & Ningbo International Regatta.
The centre boasts of world class facilities and will be a training base for sailors from the continent to enhance their skills and also play host to international events in the future.
