An overhead storm has kept fleets ashore, as the Race Committee postponed racing till 1200 hours on 10 March 2016. The severity of the storm with wind speeds in excess of 40 kts which hit the ground at about 1115 hrs today morning has resulted in damage to a number of boats and the competitors and coaches are busy making an assessment and perhaps will spend the rest of the day at getting the equipment back in shape before racing commence tomorrow.
