Asian Sailing Federation (ASAF) announces new partnership with RS Sailing

ASAF is pleased to announce that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) in partnership with RS Sailing. The signing of this MOU, will see ASAF and RS Sailing, develop, promote and expand sailing programmes and events in Asia.
RS Sailing is an international designer, manufacturer and supplier of sailboats and dinghies and associated goods and services supported by a worldwide dealer network and class associations and is based out of UK.
The new partnership has been formed with a clear outcome; ASAF and RS Sailing will work with ASAF MNAs and stakeholders to encourage the growth of sailing in the region. This work will be undertaken at both ends of the participation spectrum, from grassroots experiences right through to international competitions.
While commenting on this partnership, Dr. Malav Shroff, ASAF President, said that “ASAF was delighted to collaborate with RS Sailing, and that this partnership would augur well for promoting and development of sailing events in the Asian Region.”
Dan Jaspers, International Business Development at RS Sailing, commented “The objectives of ASAF, in terms of growing the sport of sailing in Asia, align with RS Sailing’s own business strategy. Having experienced unprecedented growth in this region over the last few years, we see the synergy between what ASAF is doing and what RS Sailing can do to help ASAF fulfil its goals on behalf of its members as an exciting opportunity to affect change via a development-oriented working relationship between both organizations. We are looking forward to working closely with ASAF and all its members in Asia over the coming years.”
The Asian Sailing Federation is looking forward to a successful and fruitful partnership with RS Sailing to help support the continued growth of sailing in Asia.
