Sailing uniquely teaches independence, healthy living, respect for environment, team building, sportsmanship and most of all courage.

The playful waves dance at your feet and the wind howls through your ears. You are aloof at that moment, but the closest with nature too! Surfing is the quintessential sport for thrill seekers. The waves are extremely enticing, urging anyone to grab a board and jump into the company of the three elements of nature – tranquil blue ocean, hot sun and the serene sky filled with the shrill shrieks of gulls.

It is, as you may have thought of, a very exhausting sport, but if you have the passion and the excitement to surf, then surely do not let this vigour sink. The picturesque sea by itself gives you the push to dive into the inviting ocean, and once in, you are all by yourself and your skills.
It is sheer luck that you may have an opportunity to spot dolphins! It is the most jaw – dropping experience when you are on your board amidst a pod of dolphins skimming the waters right under your toes!

I would like to bring into highlight one of my experiences while surfing. It was that day when I had the most mordacious time of my life. A gigantic wave came with coerce so extreme that I was pushed into water without warning. I was on the verge of unconsciousness and was gasping for breath, and do not have a gist of idea what happened thereafter.

Though it was dangerous, it was an experience I will never forget. It is that extraordinary memory that fills me with more curiosity and excitement to dive back again into the inviting waters.

I sit and laugh when the imposing images of the grandeur of this sport are portrayed in my mind, readily waiting to have another chat with the waves and befriend the dolphins who call me to play.
