Day 1 of the 19th Asian Games Sailing Event in Ningbo, kicked off to a great start on 21st September’23.
Although the weather had been cloudy with a bit of drizzle and rain the enthusiasm of the sailors was not dampened by this.
The President of the Asian Sailing Federation Dr. Malav Shroff and Secretary General Mr. Jason Lim were greeted to a warm welcome this morning at the Ningbo Xiangshan Sailing Centre and was later given a detailed update about the Centre.
The Sailing Centre has been constructed in the recent past for the Asian Games and is a spectacular venue.
The President and Secretary General were happy with the facilities at the Sailing Centre and said that it could be potentially categorized as a High Performance Centre which could train budding talent for the Asian Continent in the Future.
